  19. You have a couple of things to consider.
  20.  
  21. 1.  The transport layer.  Your ISDN terminal adapters on both ends (PC 
  22. and Mac) must support the same protocols.  This could be V.120. V.110, 
  23. X75, X25, HDLC, BONDING, PPP, etc.  Or none...if your application can 
  24. handle packet formatting.

  26. 2.  The application layer.  You need to have applications which can talk 
  27. to one another.  This might be as simple as running a standard terminal 
  28. emulation package which supports something like XModem, YModem, or 
  29. ZModem (although none of these transfer mechanisms are optimized for 
  30. ISDN which is much more error free than is the regular analog phone 
  31. service for which these file transfer protocols were originally 
  32. designed).

  34. You might want to look at file transfer packages designed specifically 
  35. for ISDN, such as EasyTransfer or ISDN Manager, and which run on both PC 
  36. and Mac platforms.  You can get more info about EasyTransfer at our Web

  39. Another approach is to simply make a PPP connection between your Mac and 
  40. PC systems and use standard ftp client-server apps on both ends.  In 
  41. this case you can use standard ISDN routers or an ISDN terminal adapter
  42. which accepts incoming PPP calls.
